I count it a genuine honor and privilege when a client invites me into their healing process. It is a sacred gift of trust. It is with that sense of reverence that I enter every therapeutic relationship. After decades of soul-care, both spiritually and clinically, I am always amazed by each client’s ability to grow beyond their own earlier limitations and transform from one life into another. This is not just a job, but a calling and I am beyond grateful!

 

I am a compassionate licensed Christian therapist, dedicated to providing a respectful, non-judgmental environment to all people. I believe that true recovery and healing must consider the entirety of a human being; body, mind, emotions, and spirit, within to context of relationships. To that end, my goal in therapy is to create more of a team approach, by establishing a collaborative working relationship with my clients.

 

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree of Psychology and a Master of Science degree specializing in Mental Health Counseling. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida as well as a National Board-Certified Counselor.  I use a wide variety of evidenced-based therapies uniquely tailored to each client specific need. I specialize in both trauma-focused interventions and biblical-based Christian counseling. 

 

In addition to my professional training, I draw from a lifetime of experience. I have been happily married for 40 years, I am a mother of three married children, and a grandmother. I served in pastoral ministry for over 35 years and have been in private practice now for over 12 years.
